Sevilla, Spain, sitting in a bar, drinking a coffe

By hombrelobo on Saturday, 10 January 2009

. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hi, I’m Eduardo. This is “Travel”. That’s our video blog,
and we are in Seville, in the South of Spain. In Sevilla, in Spanish.
And you can see that we are sitting, having a coffee,
and you can see the… the ambiance… the way people are in the street.
And how lively this is.
And, as I said, we are just- it’s December, we are sitting, having a coffee,
it’s not hot, of course.
And yet it’s probably 15, 16 degrees, but it’s very nice.
It’s perfect to sit here and have a coffee and enjoy a little pastry.
And it’s very nice.
They just finished… They just finished singing some Christmas carols,
and it was very nice.
I recorded some, I don’t know if the recording was good,
or if I will put it, but anyway.
I would strongly recommend you to come to Seville,
and enjoy the city, and I would just leave you
with some images of the people in the city.

By hombrelobo on Monday, 5 January 2009

I’m Eduardo and this is Travel, at travel video blog.
You can find me in and look at the link in the page
and you will find the address, I guess it’s a bit difficult in English.
We are in Seville in the South of Spain
and we are in the street market, the Christmas market.
Today is Saturday morning and we can hear some music, some noise at the end.
So we are going to find out what it is. We guess it’s a Christmas procession,
so I’m sure it’s going to be nice. Right now it’s Saturday morning,
it’s something like 11 in the morning Here is Seville.
And I hope you can hear the noise, the sounds. Now we are going to see what it is.
Look at the building.

Seville, the Giralda and the Plaza of the Cathedral

By hombrelobo on Friday, 2 January 2009

. . . . . . . . . . . . .
I’m Eduardo and this is “Travel”.
And we are in Sevilla, in Seville, in the south of Spain.
And we are walking next to the orange trees, towards that.
Towards the Giralda. As I told you the other day, I’m going to show,
we are in the middle of the touristic area.
You can see all the tables here prepared for the visitors.
It’s, right now I think, it’s 3:30pm, so it’s just lunchtime,
or about to finish lunchtime, I guess.
And I want to show you this one, because this is the entrance to the square
and to the nice area. So, let me see if I can walk
and bring the camera with me. And those are the… All those horse carriages
they are very nice actually. But, of course, expensive.
I am not sure how much it is right now. I think it should be about 50 euros.
And very nice to have a walk around Seville with them.
Of course, as you can imagine.
But this is the tower.
This is the tower, very nice.
So, this is the, so they say, the carriages is 40 euros for a 1 hour,
for a 1 hour trip around the city, so.
It’s very nice, as you can see.
He’s funny, he’s telling me, he say, sorry the cathedral is closed today, yeah?
So you will have to take the carriage, it’s the only thing you have left.
So, actually that’s not that bad marketing, it’s funny,
telling the people that the cathedral is closed
so that their only alternative is to see the…
Okay, 45 euros- 45 minutes. That’s the price for the carriages, so.
And this is the square in front of the cathedral and in front of the Giralda.
This is, I hope you can see it in the video, because this is very, very nice right here.
And it’s one absolute must, if you want to see a nice city in the world,
you have to come to Seville. It’s absolutely fantastic.
But not only for this. I mean, just the, you can see the,
sorry for the zooming… but I want to show you everything.
Look at this square.
And as I said, this is one of the, for me it’s one of the most romantic
and beautiful cities in the world.
This is the cathedral which is the biggest cathedral in the world.
And it’s closed today…
But it’s always good to come and have a visit in Seville.
Even if the cathedral is closed.
Well, anyway, I hope you got a good idea about the city.
Let me show you this one again.
So that’s the tower that is close to the cathedral.
And please, please come to Seville, it’s an absolutely fantastic city.
So, this is Eduardo, my name is Eduardo,
I’m Eduardo and this is “Travel”.

Sevilla, townhall and Christmas street market

By hombrelobo on Tuesday, 30 December 2008

And this is “Travel”, a “Travel Video Blog”.
I am today in Sevilla, in Seville, in the south of Spain,
in a city that is, I think, one of the most romantic cities in the world.
And I’m going to show you what I can see
walking in the street.
I am, we are in the center of the city.
You can see it’s very sunny.
I’m using my sunglasses, which is funny, because it’s…
Today is the, I think 19th of December.
So, I’m… At the previous videos you saw that I was in Copenhagen.
Actually, I was yesterday in Copenhagen, in Denmark.
So, coming here one day later and seeing all this sun
and all these people in the street is very refreshing and nice.
And we are here. Sorry for the… For the…
Sound. But this is a Christmas market.
I wanted to show you this one.
We are, this big building here is the… is the town hall.
And this is the Christmas market in Seville,
which is right now closed.
They will open in a few minutes.
But as I said, that behind is the…
That is the town hall building.
This is the Christmas market.
I guess we’ll come tonight just to do a little bit of shopping,
and a little bit of walking around and seeing if we can find anything for Christmas.
And, here we are.
And, there you go.
What you can see there at the end,
that is La Giralda.
That is the tower, probably the most famous tower in Spain,
and for sure the most famous tower in Seville.
It is La Giralda, which was originally built by the Arabs,
and then afterwards was built up on the previous one by the Christians.
So, it’s absolutely gorgeous.
Let’s go this way. So we are entering the center
and the Giralda area, and the center of the touristic quarters.
Very nice city, by the way.
It’s extremely, extremely nice to walk around and just to see.
So, anyway, I wanted to show you this first video of Seville.
I will record a few more so you can have a look at the city and how it is,
and how people live and how people enjoy this city and other cities.
So, as I said, my name is Eduardo, and this is “Travel”.
So, and you can see, wine and much more.
